Casual Cosplay, Fall Edition: #1 - Loki (Thor, Avengers)

First off, today is "Wear Your Superheroes Day."  I'll be featuring my favorite of the comic book world later this month, but for today I give you the lovely, Marvel bad-boy, Loki. I always love a "baddie" who has the potential for good. Who doesn't, right? My approach to Loki comes from a chilly morning in Wisconsin. No need for leather when you can layer knits. I decided to pair a kelly green sweater with a black vintage-style cardigan. Then all I needed was my favorite black cords over a pair of black boots. But what makes this scream Loki, of course is my easy, DIY Loki Helmet Necklace. This symbol reaches beyond average geek circles. This look can work for everyday or for the casual Halloween costumer.

In addition to the necklace, I included a few bangles and lined my eyes with a golden-hued eye-shadow.

I think I am ready to face the day and anybody who gets in my way.

"Kneel" I even tested my Loki powers, but lets face it Buster won out in the end (the heart of a true Avengers)
