ASOS Reclaimed Vintage

For those who love prints and/or festival, bohemian attire, you may be surprised to know ASOS has an ethical line for you. ASOS Reclaimed Vintage line repurposes and reworks vintage denim and other fabric, even pre-loved leather, and original vintage pieces into a limited-edition collection. The Reclaimed team seeks out their materials at markets and warehouses. Then the fabrics go to local Hackney and Dalston's East London factories to be transformed into the ethically made garments. These ethical designs are fun, youthful, and even environmental (repurposing is another key ingredient to conscious closets).

As it is Dressember, I have curated a collection below to show you a sampling of the types of fabrics and designs currently available in their dress line. In addition to dresses, they have shirts, coats, sweaters, skirts, and bags (to name a few). This line demonstrates you do not have to give up trends or prints to adhere to an ethical wardrobe life. There are many options and, as ASOS Reclaimed Vintage proves there may be a new life in an outdated items or vintage fabric. The key is creativity and a desire to make an ethical difference with fashion.

For Dressember 2015, I am dedicating a collection of posts to ethical clothing companies that make dresses. This post is part of this series. If you are interested in my Dressember Campaign, click here
