Catherine Litke's self-named line Litke is perfect for those whose style is a mix of tomboy and feminine. Litke is a sustainable brand made from natural fabrics (organic cotton, linen, virgin wool, etc) and some items are made at local quilting circles or individually knit by hand. Litke also happens to be made in the USA, specifically in New York, utilizing historic American mills.

I was drawn to Litke's twist on traditional silhouettes and have curated a selection of Litke's dress designs below. Litke's designs incorporate small detail touches that can transform these pieces into beautiful shapes.

A small selection of Litke's clothes can be found online at Ethica, a retailer "where you can learn about ethical fashion, discover emerging designers, and shop a high-style selection of ethical and sustainable labels." I highly recommend you check out other designers, but of course, pay special attention to Litke's other pieces such as tops, skirts, and jackets.

For Dressember 2015, I am dedicating a collection of posts to ethical clothing companies that make dresses. This post is part of this series. If you are interested in my Dressember Campaign, click here
