Curated Thrifted Dressember: Vintage Sweater Dresses

Though the temperatures are unseasonably warm in Wisconsin, chilly temperatures will be around the corner. Comfort and warmth in fashion are key; however, that does not mean breaking your budget or forgoing your style.  As we noted last week in the first installment of this series, Vintage Black Tunics, thrifting is one of the key ways to be ethically responsible, environmentally conscious, and keep within your budget.  Today we apply the same rules to a dress staple between the months of December and February: The Sweater Dress.

As the saying goes, what is old is new again and today's collection of Vintage Sweater Dresses proves the point.  You can find something from almost every decade, in a plethora of colors and shapes. There is something for everyone.  Below I have curated a collection of some of my favorite styles currently available, but I encourage everyone to explore their thrifted vintage options this winter season.

For Dressember 2015, I am dedicating a collection of posts to ethical clothing companies that make dresses. This post is part of this series. If you are interested in my Dressember Campaign, click here
