Spring Fashion Courtesy of British Pathé

As the temperatures slowly make their way north, many of us start to get the urge for new items for our wardrobe. This is not a recent development, just made more convenient thanks to online shopping. In my search for spring fashion, I sometimes like to window shop vintage fashion. Which sometimes leads to searches down the rabbit hole that is British Pathé.

What I discovered is a collection of amazing spring fashion reels. I am selecting my favorites (which include audio) ranging from the 1930s to 1960s. They cover jackets, hats, day dress, evening wear, and more. What are some of your favorite spring clothing staples? Do you ever find inspiration from vintage pieces? I'd love to hear from you in the comments below.

I now want a hat with a side pocket, full skirts, and very important sleeves (check out the videos below to see what I mean). I also hope you find these videos as delightful as me.

In 1937, the full skirt was back in style for day or night.

In 1956, we learn "important" sleeve are in fashion.

In 1958, Mother Nature is influencing hats.

Easter fashion in 1959 means waists for men to throw their arm around you, plus more hats!

1963 evokes superhero chic, with belts of many colors, capes, and dresses with pockets.
